Julie started with us in December of 1993. She left for a little while in 2008 because she returned to school to become a Certified Medical Assistant. Although she is a CMA, she continues to call East Towne Veterinary Clinic her home. In January 2017, she took on a new role as Hospital Manager.
Julie is a huge advocate for pet insurance. It breaks her heart to hear someone say they cannot afford to pursue a treatment for the pet they love due to finances, and knows that it breaks their hearts, too. In many cases, pet insurance can take the financial aspect out of the decision-making process when determining what course of action to take with a sick or injured pet.
Julie has been married to her husband Mike since 1990, and they have two incredible children – Emma (21) and Adam (18). She had an amazing lab until he became sick, and they lost him in 2019. Sport lived to be 13 because of the amazing care of the East Towne Doctors. They now have a "foster failure" yorkie mix Benson. Julie and her family fostered him in October of 2017, and he stole their hearts pretty quickly.
