Michelle has loved animals her entire life; there has always been a family dog or cat in the picture, as well as a few pet rats. She believes that the human race would not be able to survive without their furry companions! Earlier in life, Michelle decided to pursue her other love of art and drawing and earned her B.F.A. at UW-Milwaukee. She found a job with Schaum Publications, a national piano music publisher in Mequon, and worked there as a graphic artist for 26 years until the business was sold. At the time, she and her youngest daughter were volunteer dog walkers for the Wisconsin Humane Society in Saukville. She thought it would be a great time to pursue a job working with animals.
She began working at East Towne as a part-time grooming assistant and pet care attendant in December 2016. She is now a full time grooming assistant, helping to bathe and blow dry our wonderful grooming clients. She also helps out in other areas of the clinic if needed. Michelle lives in Port Washington with her husband Kevin, their teenage daughters Quinn and Reese, and their black lab named Dude.
