David Tunder, DVM

Dr. Tunder founded East Towne Veterinary Clinic in 1984 and is currently the Chief of Staff. He attended Ohio State University for both his undergraduate and veterinary studies. After veterinary school he spent a few years practicing at the Cedarburg Veterinary Clinic. Thanks to his hard work and dedication East Towne Veterinary Clinic has grown into the community's greatest resource for high quality pet care, medicine, diagnosis, and surgery. As well as this, East Towne's staff has been providing excellent customer service and an outstanding customer experience for over 13 years.

Dr. Tunder's medical interests include internal medicine and surgery. A lover of the outdoors, he enjoys a range of activities including fishing, hunting and sea kayaking. He also likes to spend his free time with his family and his 3 dogs, Dixie, Aspen and Vesper.

Dr. Tunder would like every pet owner to always remember what a wonderful blessing our pets are. "They are always happy to see us and show us what unconditional love looks like. We get a tail wag or purr from them whether we had a good day or a bad day. The profession now calls this the human-companion animal bond, we really know it as loving them like family members!"
